PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost required for repairing an existing incineration facility for general refuse or establishing a new facility when generation of dioxins is suppressed by ensuring a long incineration time. SOLUTION: The incineration facility for refuse comprises an incinerator body 1 having a combustion chamber 9 for combusting supplied refuse, and a gas cooler 10 for cooling combustion gas generated in the combustion chamber 9 coupled with the incinerator body 1 through an auxiliary combustion duct 18 of combustion gas projecting from a building 2 and exposed to the outer air.
