PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyaluronic acid production-promoting agent which promotes the production of the hyaluronic acid in persons and is effective for preventing the aging of the skins of the persons (maintaining the tension and elasticity of the skins), for preventing/treating arthritis and the like, for early treating burns, and for others, and to provide a skin preparation which is used for external use, can retain the tension and elasticity of skins to prevent wrinkles, and can maintain moist and young skin states, by compounding the hyaluronic acid production-promoting agent into a preparation for external use. SOLUTION: This hyaluronic acid production-promoting agent, and the skin preparation for external use, containing one or more plants selected from Phellodendron bark, Citrus limon and Citrus junos, or their solvent extracts. |
