PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate communication area by using reception strength, a delay dispersion, a desired wave versus interference power ratio and signal-to-noise power ratio for evaluation parameters. SOLUTION: The required transmission quality is specified, which is defined by the error rate of a wireless communication system, a minimum reception level satisfying the required transmission quality is specified from an error rate characteristic with respect to the ratio of energy per bit with respect to noise power density, the maximum delay dispersion satisfying the required transmission quality from the delay characteristic of the wireless communication system is specified, the required signal to noise power ratio and the required desired wave versus interference power ratio which satisfies the required transmission quality from the noise characteristic and the interference characteristic of the wireless communication system are respectively specified. Then the communication area is estimated by using the minimum reception level, the maximum delay dispersion, the desired wave versus interference power ratio and the signal to noise power ratio that are specified for evaluation parameters. |
