A hose coupling device includes a fitting member (22) and a collar member (24). When the collar member and the fitting member are engaged, prongs (33) slide on an internal annular ramp (40) causing teeth (60) at the distal ends of the prongs to bite into an external surface of a hose. A short-twist pin-in-slot mechanism (30, 33) is used to provide easy installation of the coupler. |
