<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing gas containing carbon monoxide and at least either of hydrogen or methane free from harmful substances such as nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, etc., under mild conditions that reduce the corrosion of the construction materials of the reaction vessels, deterioration of the catalysts and generation of these harmful substances, and to provide a manufacturing equipment suitable for performing the method for manufacturing. SOLUTION: The method manufactures a gas including carbon monoxide and at least one of hydrogen and methane by burning a part of the carbon source by an oxidizing agent under the presence of stream in a supercritical state or subcritical state of carbon dioxide, and the equipment for manufacturing the gas enabling a part of carbon source to burn by the oxidizing agent under the prescribed conditions.</p> |
