The invention relates to a method for processing data structures using interlinked semantic units. Said method involves the following steps: capturing a data structure; generating, analyzing, modifying, deleting and/or storing semantic structural units and/or the interlinks thereof on the basis of the data structure that has been captured by using a knowledge base consisting of a network of semantic knowledge units. Semantic structural units and/or the interlinks thereof are classified in iterative steps. A specific type of processing can be activated on the basis of said classification, which modifies a corresponding semantic structural unit and/or a given partial link.
