METHOD FOR DECOMPOSING THERMOSETTING RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposing a thermosetting resin for recovering metallic parts from a molded product using the thermosetting resin, capable of recovering the metallic parts from the molded product in a good efficiency by decreasing the temperature for the decomposition and also increasing the decomposition rate. SOLUTION: This method for decomposing the thermosetting resin in a good efficiency is to heat a mixed solution of at least one aqueous solution selected from aqueous hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrobromic acid solutions with an organic carboxylic acid compound and perform the decomposition treatment of the thermosetting resin in the heated solution.
