<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is difficult for a conventional hydrolyzable absorbent article to prevent leakage from the back side. SOLUTION: This hydrolyzable absorbent article 1 comprises a hydrolyzable back layer 12, a hydrolyzable and liquid permeable surface layer 10 and a hydrolyzable absorbing layer 11 held between the back layer 12 and the surface layer 10. The absorbing layer 11 is formed out of at least one sheet with a water soluble or water swollen polymeric compound layer 21 and a hydrolyzable fiber layer 20 laminated in one unit, the fiber layer 20 being located at the side of the surface layer 10. Humors, which are first absorbed and diffused into the fiber layer 20, are free from concentration at one place and transfer to the polymeric compound layer 21. Leakage to the back side is thus effectively prevented.</p> |
