PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller for electric motor car, which can control torque of the motor of an electric motor car according to the running state of the car, so that the car exhibits smooth acceleration capability and sufficient climbing ability. SOLUTION: The motor controller, which decides the then target torque of the motor of the electric motor car according to the running state of the car and controls the torque of the motor, according to the decided target torque finds the target speed of the car, by performing prescribed arithmetic process, using the set values of the weight and running resistance of the car and the target torque and also an auxiliary torque based on the target speed found and the present speed by performing prescribed arithmetic processing and corrects the target torque by adding the auxiliary torque to the target torque. |
