PURPOSE: A foreign material remover for a ship is provided to reduce a producing cost by simplifying structure and to easily remove foreign material without deformation. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing foreign material in a ship comprises an open unit(11) mounted on a middle of an upper face in a body unit(1); a shaft unit formed on a middle portion of an inner face in the body unit; a worm installing hole(13) penetrating the body unit; a bracket(2) fixed on a lower portion of the body; a stopper bar(3) slidingly inserted to the lower portion of the body; a worm(4) combined to an actuation handle(5); a combing unit(41) formed on a side of the worm; a rotational shaft(6) rotationally combined to bearings(61,62); a worm wheel(63) fixed on a lower portion of the rotational shaft; a cover(7) isolating the open unit of the body unit; a coupling(8) inserting the rotational shaft; a combining groove(81) formed on an upper portion of the coupling; and a tap body(9) having a bar shape.
