PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problem of a high cost of a memory in a printer having a resolution exceeding 60 dpi or a printer capable of expressing in multiple gradation by incorporating a memory capacity coincident with the resolution in planes of respective color of RBG of at least one page in a page printer in the case of realizing an RBG processing printer for supporting an imaging calculation. SOLUTION: The method for processing an image comprises the steps of reading and extending YMCK data compressed at a band unit and stored in a memory (S1510), outputting data (S1511), and deleting data of one band at each completion of outputting the data of one band from the memory (S1512). |
