PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which has high operability by providing an input device which enables diverse indication input with a small number of operation keys. SOLUTION: An operation part which has dot matrix liquid crystal 46 combined inside a cross key is provided on the back of a camera on which a CCD is mounted and a liquid crystal monitor 38 is arranged. The liquid crystal monitor 38 displays a menu bar 222 for various input settings and a menu balloon 223 of a submenu on an on-screen display(ODS) in addition to a photographed image and a reproduced image. A user selects a desirable menu item by operating the cross key. The menu has noncyclic constitution and when the movement end of the menu display is reached by the operation, display part (46R) corresponding to a key is not displayed (blinked) on the dot matrix liquid crystal 46 to indicate that the display does not further move even when the key is operated. |
