PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize processing suitable for a situation by predicting the omen of a disaster before system down for minimizing a damage due to data lost generated according to the generation of a disaster during the operation of a single storage system and the remote copy system of a storage. SOLUTION: A disk controller is provided with a function for detecting and recognizing the generation of a disaster. Therefore, it is possible to switch processing at the time of the generation of a disaster to an optimal mode according to the use of this system or the generating situation of the disaster by predicting the generation of the disaster. Thus, it is possible to minimize data lost.
