PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cord for reinforcing rubber, capable of developing excellent fatigue resistance by using a carbon fiber and a fiber-reinforced rubber material suitably usable as a reinforcing material for a rubber material such as tire, belt, hose, etc., by using the reinforcing cord. SOLUTION: This cord for reinforcing rubber is obtained by impregnating a carbon fiber bundle having >=1.7% elongation at break with a rubber latex- containing resin composition and has <=1,000 N/m initial inclination (dM/dy)y=0 of bending load M-flexure y curve by ASTM D885-76.
