SOLUTION: This picture display device is provided with a picture data judging part 5 for judging whether a picture is a vertically long picture or a horizontally long picture from the size of picture data obtained by a picture data reading part 4 for obtaining the size of picture data read by a picture supplying device 21, a dialog resource deciding part 5 for deciding which of a horizontally placed resource 2 corresponding to the horizontally long picture or a vertically placed resource 3 corresponding to the vertically long picture should be selected for the picture data notified from the picture data using part 5, a picture data displaying part 8 to which the picture data read by the picture data reading part 4 are inputted, and a picture displaying device 9 for displaying the dialog resource decided by the dialog resource deciding part 6, and transferred through a dialog box displaying part 7 and the picture data transmitted from the picture data displaying part 8.</p> |
