PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new catalyst for preparing of oxygen containing organic compounds and a new preparing method of the same compound. SOLUTION: The catalyst for preparing oxygen containing organic compounds and the preparation method of the above compounds are characterized by bringing groups of olefins, alcohols or aldehydes composed of polyoxometalate substituted with a bivalent transition metal cation into contact with gas containing molecular oxygen.
