<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire and update both or either of resource information and status information of a device which a user specified as an object device on a network. SOLUTION: Resource information and status information of networked device are acquired and stored in a memory. An icon that permits identification of types of networked devices based on the stored resource information, and a usage status of the device based on the status information are combined and displayed on a display part. Both or either of the resource information and the status information is selected (S504, S505, S506), the target for update is specified by icon display so as to update the information, both of or one selected from the resource information and the status information of the specified device is acquired, and, based on this information, the information in the memory is updated (S507).</p> |
