<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stairs passage equipment without impairing safety of a pedestrian even when a passenger conveyor is arranged parallelly. SOLUTION: Pedestrian handrails 14, 17, 18 supported on the outside of a handrail 7a in the passenger conveyor 4 are arranged to be extended beyond the handrail 7a in the passenger conveyor, and the initial end and the terminal end of the pedestrian handrail are supported by horizontal parts 9, 10 in a main frame 5 of the passenger conveyor.</p> |
