PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide grease compositions which can exhibit good lubricating performance even when used in a closed system which becomes in a low oxygen state. SOLUTION: The grease compositions are applied to the grease to be used in a low oxygen state, and comprise a zinc dialkyl-dithiophosphate and an oxidizing agent capable of generating oxygen or ozone in the temperature region of using the grease. Under a thin oxygen condition (particularly at a high temperature), the effect of improving wear resistance due to the addition of the zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (Zn-DTP) decreases but this can be avoided by addition of the above oxidizing agent. |
