PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevatable floor type bathtub such that a bathtub floor is smoothly raised and lowered while held horizontal. SOLUTION: A bather is placed on the bathtub floor 13 and operating water in a floor-elevating bellows 17 is drained to contract the bellows and lower the bather into the bathtub 12. In this case, the bathtub floor 13 is always stably held horizontal by a pantograph 18. After bathing, the operating water is supplied from an operating water supply unit 12C to the floor-elevating bellows 17 to expand the bellows 17 to slowly push up the bather to the surface of hot water. In this way, the bathtub floor 13 is elevated and lowered by the expansion and contraction of the bellows 17 and the bending of the pantograph 18 to enable the elevatable bathtub floor 13 to be smoothly elevated and lowered while held horizontal. |
