<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head lamp system for a vehicle capable of controlling plural lamp units accommodated in a lamp body to execute the illumination in accordance with a vehicle traveling situation, without giving the feeling of incompatible to a driver of a car running on the opposite lane and impairing the appearance of the lamp. SOLUTION: The illumination of plural lamp units 36L, 36R, 38L and 38R accommodated in lamp bodies 34 of a pair of left and right head lamps 10L and 10R are controlled corresponding to a steering angle. Here, the illumination is controlled by controlling a dimmer for increasing and decreasing the quantity of illumination light of each lamp unit 36L, 36R, 38L and 38R while keeping the lighting condition of all of these lamp units 36L, 36R, 38L and 38R. Thereby, the misunderstanding that the passing operation is executed, by the driver of the car running on the opposite lane or a walker, can be prevented, and the partial darkening inside of the lamp bodies 34 can be prevented.</p> |
