<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose clamp of a holder-less type. SOLUTION: This hose clamp comprises a clamping ring 1, a tapered portion 6, extending from both ends of the clamping ring to the cross direction in the state of crossing each other and a pair of grips 2A, 2B rising from the end of the tapered portion to the radial direction, so that a hose can be clamped, when the diameter of the clamping ring is contracted in a free condition and the diameter of the clamping ring is enlarged when the pair of grips approach each other. A locking pawl 3 is formed on the clamping ring near one grip and a receiving portion 4 for engaging the locking pawl in a disengageable manner, and a cut-out portion 5 for avoiding the overlapping with one grip in the cross direction are formed on the side of the other grip. If the locking pawl is engaged with the receiving portion, the clamping ring is held in the condition of enlarged diameter and the locking pawl is disengaged from the receiving portion, simply by using the cutout portion formed on the other grip to make both grips approach in the cross direction.</p> |
