<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable operation type disc brake capable of effectively preventing an efficiency loss when actuating a cam mechanism under high pressure. SOLUTION: This cable operation type disc brake is provided with a caliper housing, a first friction member movably connected to the caliper housing so as to be movable between a brake release position and a brake position, a second friction member connected to the caliper housing so as to be arranged almost in parallel to the first friction member to form a rotor receiving slot between the second friction member and the first friction member and a cable actuating mechanism movably connected to the caliper housing so as to move the first friction member to the brake position. The cable actuating mechanism is movably arranged between an axial directional retreating position and an axial directional extending position, and is provided with first and second cam members having a guide member for connecting the mutual cam members when moving between both positions.</p> |
