<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate piping wall thickness reduction prediction method. SOLUTION: A time for reaching a minimum allowably wall thickness is accurately estimated, by showing a wall thickness reduction amount as a nonlinear function of time in relation to a remaining service life by the aid of a statistical analysis from data base of wall thickness reduction rate computed from the past measured wall thickness measurment result, or by inputting a correction item of parameter corelation effect in a prediction formula. Accordingly, the piping inspection time is determined properly and saving of inspection is ensured, and owing to the high accuracy of prediction method, a large contribution is made to the safe operation of a plant.</p> |
