PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a tire carcass of high quality at a low cost by manufacturing a two-layered narrow carcass member consisting of a ply member and an inner liner member at the same time not only to miniaturize equipment but also to reduce the number of manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: When several cords 3 are coated with rubber and extruded from an extruder to be formed into a ply member 6, the inner liner member 7 is extruded at the same time to manufacture the two-layered narrow carcass member 5 consisting of the ply member 6 and the inner liner member 7.
