PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watering method enabling the stable watering to culture soil 14 in a planter 13 through a watering wick 12. SOLUTION: The middle part of the watering wick 12 is inserted into a pipe 20 and the pipe is embedded in the culture soil 14 to suppress the evaporation of water from the middle part of the wick 12 into air and the diffusion of water to the soil 14 from the wick 12 at the part first contacting with the soil 14. The method prevents the fluctuation of the watering quantity and enables the uniform watering and the watering and fertilization at a desired part in the culture soil 14. |
