PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror for a vehicle which can be produced at a low cost in a short production time. SOLUTION: The mirror has a glass substrate 1, a reflection layer 2 formed on one face of the glass substrate 1, a color clear layer 3 formed by coating on the other face of the glass substrate 1, and a transparent photocatalyst layer 4 having a photocatalytic effect formed by coating on the surface of the color clear layer 3, or a color clear photocatalyst layer 5 having a photocatalytic effect formed by coating on the other face of the glass substrate 1. A desired transparent color can be obtained by the color clear layer 3 or the color clear photocatalyst layer 5. Since the color clear layer 3, photocatalyst layer 4 or color clear photocatalyst layer 5 are formed by coating, the mirror can be produced at a low cost in a short production time compared to a mirror formed by vapor deposition.
