摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the capacity control mechanism of a screw compressor capable of surely holding a slide valve even when the output of a drive motor is small and being controlled rapidly with high reliability without affecting the operating conditions. SOLUTION: When a pilot valve element 21 is moved rightward by an electric motor 50 through a link mechanism 55, an annular groove 33 in a control passage 31 communicates with an exhaust path 41 and a fluid pressure in a chamber 12 lowers. By this, a piston 5 moves in the direction of interrupting the communication between the control passage 31 and the discharge path 41, and stops when a driven force formed of a pressure difference in a slide valve 2 and the drive force of the piston produced by pressure differences in the cylinder chambers 12 and 13 are balanced with each other. Thus, since the piston 5 and, accordingly, the slide valve 2 follows up the pilot valve element 21, the axial position of the slide valve 2 is determined by the axial position of the pilot valve element 21.
