PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant printing ink containing as a binder a polycarbonate resin consisting of structural units which may be inexpensively and easily prepared. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant printing ink contains as a binder a cyclohexane-soluble polycarbonate resin containing a bifunctional carbonate structural unit of formula (1) (wherein R is a 1-4C alkyl group, preferably a methyl group since it may be synthesized most easily) and a bifunctional carbonate structural unit of formula (2).
