PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sheet guide device for a sheet-feed press, in which even if a sheet carried to a guide gap of both the outer peripheral face of a printing cylinder and a sheet guide is a thin paper sheet, stable transfer is enabled. SOLUTION: The sheet guide device is equipped with a first air current controlling means constituted so that in the upstream side of a sheet guide, air is jetted into a guide gap formed between the outer periphery of a cylinder for printing and the sheet guide for guiding a sheet from an air blow-out port provided in the sheet guide and the sheet is floated in the inside of the guide gap and passed and in the downstream side of the sheet guide, equipped with a plurality of air suction holes opened in the downstream side part in the transfer direction of the sheet than the air blow-out port, a suction chamber storing air passed through the air suction holes and a second air current controlling means which is connected to the suction chamber and discharges air stored in the same.
