PURPOSE:To provide a preform glass fiber mat not generating a resin rich layer in an FRP product. CONSTITUTION:Groove parts 2 are preformed to at least one surface of a glass fiber mat 1 used in the molding of an FRP product by compression molding. The parts where the recessed groove parts 2 are formed by compression molding become high in the density of a glass fiber and the rigidity of a preform glass fiber mat is increased to increase the shape retentivity and, at the time of the molding of the FRP product, an injection resin becomes easy to flow through the preform glass fiber mat and no resin rich layer is generated in the product. |
