PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator convenient for transportation and handling, enabling easy extraction of a cell sheet and usable for the mass culture of cell sheets. SOLUTION: A lid 130 is attached to a bottom part 110 in a manner rotatable around a supporting hole 140. A film 102 is easily placed on the culture face 112 by turning the lid 130 and opening the upper face of the culture surface 112. A liquid medium is poured through an inlet and outlet guide 122. The lid 130 is provided with a pressing pin 142 to hold the film 102 below the liquid level of the liquid medium 104. In the case of extracting the cell sheet formed in the culture cassette 100, the lid 130 is turned to completely open the upper face of the culture surface 112 and taking the cell sheet in the form of the sheet.
