<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat device by which a patient or a bed-ridden aged person can freely and safely roll in the left and right directions by himself/ herself without the need of the help of others. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a fixed base and upper movable bases capable of inclining the body in left, right and inner side directions mounted in two columns on the left and right across a center line. The respective upper movable bases are provided with a warm gear mechanism on the back surface and the warm gear mechanism is provided with a motor-driven switch mechanism. When the patient on a mat wants to lie down on the right side, a motor-driven switch is operated and the movable base on a left inner side is inclined to the right. The movable base at a left wing (left outer side) is inclined to the right further. Simultaneously, the movable base on a right outer side is inclined to the left (that is to the inner side) and lying down by himself/herself is made possible.</p> |
