<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high load biological treatment method capable of treating a liquid to be treated without filling a high load reaction tank with a carrier to prevent the reduction of an effective volume to enable high load treatment and capable of removing organic matter stably and efficiently, capable of forming sludge good in solid-liquid separability. SOLUTION: The liquid 11 to be treated is introduced into a first aeration tank 1 to be brought into contact with microorganisms under an aerobic condition to decompose organic matter with high BOD load and further introduced into a second aeration tank 2 to decompose organic matter with high BOD load so that a soluble BOD removing ratio becomes 50% or more and a soluble BOD concentration becomes 50-10,000 mg/L. Thereafter, the liquid to be treated is introduced into a third aeration tank 3 filled with a carrier 21 not only to decompose organic matter with low BOD load but also to flucculate sludge.</p> |
