PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nematode preparation capable of preserving a nematode in a high survival rate of the nematode, and capable of being applied to the large nematode. SOLUTION: (1) This nematode preparation comprises the nematode having biological ability for controlling a pest, and a wood flour, or the nematode and a carrier consisting essentially of the wood flour. The nematode preparation preferably has >=40 wt.% water content, and the particle diameter of the wood flour is preferably <=300μm. (2) The method for producing the nematode preparation is characterized in that the nematode and the water in an amount regulated so that the water content may be >=40 wt.% are added to the carrier consisting essentially of the wood flour, or the carrier consisting of a mixture of the wood flour as the essential component with an inorganic material power and/or a disperser, and the resultant mixture is mixed.
