TRIMMER FOR STRIP AND SCRAP CUTTER

Disclosed is an apparatus for the trimming of metal strip and cutting up trimming scrap with a turntable and respectively two trimming heads and two scrap cutter heads, of which respectively one trimming head and one scrap cutter head is in an operating position or i n a readiness position. On each turntable, the two trimming heads are positioned with thei r associated scrap cutter heads at an angle of 180.degree. from one another with the scrap cutt er heads positioned in a respectively opposite direction as seen in a plan view of the turntable. Thi s results in a compact construction which requires only a single maintenance position for blade replacement for the respective trimming head and scrap cutter head.
