<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying segments, allowing the segments to be carried into the shield machine side through a narrow space part at the side of a gas pipe in laying the gas pipe in a tunnel abreast with boring the tunnel, and allowing segment lining along with boring of the shield machine even during work of welding the gas pipes to each other. SOLUTION: A conveying truck with several segments loaded in a vertically placed state travels on a rail parallel with a gas pipe laid in the tunnel, to convey the segments to a segment stock part behind the shield machine, and the segments on the conveying truck are transferred onto a set-off truck behind the segment stock part. The segments on the set-off truck are then lifted by a lifting device travelable in the longitudinal direction, and loaded in many rows at the segment stock part. Since the conveying truck cannot travel during work of welding the gas pipes to each other, the segments stocked in the segment stock part is fed into the shield machine side and assembled along with boring the tunnel.</p> |
