<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heeling effect to a speaker by making conversations more friendly by operating a robot 10 in correspondence with the voices of a speaking party with a portable telephone set 26. SOLUTION: This robot 10 adaptive to telephone is provide with a main body 18 of robot formed in the shape of stuffed doll or the like and having a body 12 and a face 16 including a head 14, plural mechanisms built in this main body 18 of robot and capable of recognizing the voice of the speaking party and performing action corresponding thereto under the control of a microcomputer 56, the portable telephone 26 mounted freely attachably to and detachably from a telephone inserting port 30 formed on the side face of the body 12 and having a hands-free function and a mode switching button 38 for switching the operating modes of a speaking party mode and a listener mode and further, the telephone inserting port 30 is provided with a charging mechanism for the portable telephone 26.</p> |
