PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for rational auction through which a bidder and a seller agree with each other on a network. SOLUTION: Computers of the bidder, the seller, and a mediator are connected to the network. The mediation computer is equipped with a sale-side DB10 having information on the objects of sale and a bid-side DB20 having information on bidder's IDs and objects for bidding. The mediation computer is equipped with a sale object matching means 41 which substantially generates a DB30 for each sale object from the bid-side DB20 and sale-side DB10 when the sale object of the sale-side DB10 and a sale object of the bid-side DB10 are in the same genre, a means 42 which limits persons who can bid by matching sale objects on the basis of an arbitrary field of the sale-object classified DB30, and a means 43 which notifies the persons who can bid of the sale objects and a message showing that bidding is allowed. |
