PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to optionally read electronic documents on-line and to limit the off-line reading of the documents. SOLUTION: Electronic documents are displayed so as to be read only when an electronic document file to be read by a client terminal is provided through a communication protocol, i.e., only when a state that the file is a file on a server can be confirmed. |
