Cement comprises at least one hydraulic binder, optionally at least one filler and at least one additive, and anisotropic particles of at least one polymer with an elasticity module up to 10 GPa; the particles having largest dimension on average 0.6-6 mm and amounting up to 10 wt.% per weight of the hydraulic binder. Independent claims are also included for the following: (i) a cement paste comprising at least cement as above and water; (ii) a consolidated material obtained by hardening cement paste as above; (iii) the preparation of cement paste above, comprising mixing cement with water, or mixing hydraulic binder, optional filler and additive and water, and adding anisotropic particles of polymer; (iv) the preparation of consolidated material by hardening cement paste at least 50 deg C, preferably at least 80 deg C; (v) the use of consolidated material in oil and gas extraction field or in building and public works sector; and (vi) the use of anisotropic particles of at least one polymer having elasticity module up to 10 GPa, with largest dimension on average 0.6-6 mm, in consolidated material obtained by hardening cement paste made of water and cement, the latter comprising at least one hydraulic binder, optionally at least one filler and additive, with anisotropic particles amounting up to 10 wt.% per wt. of hydraulic binder. |
