MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ORIFICE PLATE OF INK JET PRINTER HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a jet speed and a jet volume of ink at an ink jet printer head satisfactorily by stabilizing meniscus of the ink around a nozzle. SOLUTION: A nozzle 7 which passes through a substrate 10 and a fluorine- containing polyimide film 9 is formed on the substrate 10 having the polyimide film 9 on its surface. By this way, as the polyimide film 9 is not formed inside the inner surface of the nozzle 7, a condition of film forming the polyimide film 9 at each nozzle 7 can be made to equal level and the meniscus of the ink around the nozzle 7 can be stabilized.
