PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-needle sewing machine in which both shapes of a principal portion 11a and a needlebar supporting portion 11d are simplified by separating a transversal frame 11 into the principal portion 11a and needlebar supporting portion 11d each of which is manufactured simply and cheaply by using a given means such as the die-cast method. SOLUTION: The transversal frame 11 forms a body different from a rubbing portion 13 connected in a transversely movable way to a base frame 4, the principal portion 11a having a driving and connecting portion 14 ranging to a riving mechanism and the needlebar supporting portion 11d arranging in a row and holding plurality of needlebars 6 and is formed by mounting the needlebar supporting portion 11d formed in the different body for the principal portion 11a in a mountable and detachable way in a state of supporting a plurality of the needlebars 6.
