radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is specifically related to methods and devices of search for wide-band signal in CDMA communication systems. Problem on which solution proposed group of inventions is directed is realized thanks to employment of multistage procedure of decision-making, of strategy of complete scanning cycle and adaptation of levels of thresholds of multistage procedure. Invention includes three variants of realization of method of search for wide-band signal. Device for search for wide-band signal has correlator, control and synchronization unit, decision-making unit and unit of threshold forming and correction.
