<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave sensor reduced in necessary memory capacity or calculation quantity and capable of well discriminating between noise and pulsation. SOLUTION: In the pulse wave sensor wherein an ultrasonic wave is transmitted from a transmission part 10 and the reflected wave obtained by a receiver is converted to a pulse wave in a detection part, a pulsation sensing part specifying pulsation from the pulse wave estimates the timing of next pulsation from an already obtained pulsating pulse wave interval (S11) and the peaks not less than a predetermined value of the pulse waves in the zones Z before and behind the pulsation sensing part are detected and the peak of timing nearest to the estimated timing among those peaks is specified as one caused by pulsation (S13-S15).</p> |
