摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce radiation dose in the case of scanning a region of interest of an object 22 by a multi-slice computer tomographic(CT) imaging system 10. SOLUTION: Radiation beams 16 of the CT imaging system are collimated into fan-shaped radiation beams with at least a first region 56 and a second region 58 so that the first region has a smaller angle range than the second region. The object with the region of interest(ROI) is scanned by the collimated radiation beams, and the image of the object is recomposed using an attenuated measured value collected during scanning. In recomposing, projection data from the object part outside of the ROI shut out by collimation is estimated using the attenuated measured value collected using the second region of the radiation beams.
