PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information service distribution system and a method which are capable of maximizing utilization of information in efficiency and degree of satisfaction because a VOD service and an internet service are provided for a VOD terminal equipment user by the use of WAP in a wireless network environment. SOLUTION: In a wireless network environment, a VOD service distribution system includes VOD terminal equipment 11 which displays prescribed video information, a radio communication server 12 which supplies a prescribed radio communication service menu so as to enable the VOD terminal equipment 11 to select required video information, a VOD server 13 which supplies service information on the VOD selected by the VOD terminal equipment 11 from the service menu provided by the radio communication server 12, a first converting means which converts the prescribed content inputted from outside into the prescribed format and stores it in the VOD server 13, and a second converting means which converts the prescribed content inputted through the Internet into the prescribed format and stores it in the VOD server 13. |
