PURPOSE: To provide a developing device capable of surely covering a toner replenishing aperture until attaining a state where developer exists on the surface of a developer carrier opposed to the toner replenishing port successively with the rotation of the developer carrier while realizing the prevention of the adhesion of toner to a part where the developer does not exist on the developer carrier at the time of starting to use the developing device at low cost with simple constitution, and to provide a toner storing method for the developing device and an image forming device. CONSTITUTION: When the developing device is new, the blade member 9a of an agitator 9 is positioned at a position where it covers the toner replenishing aperture 8a of a toner hopper 8, and shields the aperture 8a. Then, a positioning part 20 for positioning the member 9a at a position where the member 9a covers the aperture 8a by engaging with the tip part of the member 9a in the case of positioning the member 9a at the position is provided on the inner surface of the hopper 8. |
