PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method for an overhanging part by means of a hydroform process capable of forming a shoulder having a small-curvature diameter at the overhanging part without unnecessarily raising an internal pressure that shall be applied to the inside of a metal member. SOLUTION: Firstly, work hardening is given to a part 14 of a metal tube 13. After that, the overhanging part 30 is formed by means of the hydroform process. By such forming procedures, the shoulder 30a having a small-curvature diameter that coincides with an R shape of a bottom-face angle 15a at a concave part of dies 11, 12 is formed at the overhanging part 30.
