PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the drop of the electric power supplied to a traction motor, when the engine of a hybrid car equipped with the engine and traction motor goes out of order. SOLUTION: A controller for a power train equipped with the engine, a traction motor, and a battery which supplies electric power to the motor is provided with a rotating state controller, which controls the rotating state of the engine and the electric power of the battery and an energy control means (steps S1 and S2), which suppresses the decrease of the electric power of the battery, by controlling the rotating state of the engine by means of the rotating state controller, when the engine goes out of order. |
